First of all if you now anything about aliens their hives can only hold about 200 aliens. In several alien novels aliens numbered into the thousands. Hives are only limited by host bodies. So what happens when the hive reaches 200? The other aliens just die to make room for new ones?
Wolverine8888 wasn't nearly this bad. I've been an alien fan since I was about 8. I own every aliens and predator novel written and a good portion of the comics. I know what I'm talking about. Aliens lose this one, bad.
Oh and ps there was a sickness once that wiped out a hive. This was documented by Church in the novel "Labyrinth".
