I kinda agree on Black Cat being quite hot, but what killed her as a character for me is her being retconned into a rape victim (twice in an arc) by the fat, ugly **** that is Kevin Smith.
I liked his Dogma movie and so on, but the decision to turn a character like Black Cat, who was a strong personality, because she wanted to make her father proud of her or some crap like that ... into a strong personality, because she got raped twice and refused to be a victim from that point on ...
It's just so off-putting :-7 I wish to never see rape related stuff in comics and every time it occurs for shock values it really bothers me. The many rapes of Mark Millar are one thing ... there I can simply choose to not buy his comics, but when it happens out of nowhere in mainstream comics simply to shock, because gutting and mutilating people just doesn't cut it anymore - it just sucks.
