THE JUDGMENT OF CELESTIAL
WALTZ OF THE REAPER

War! Igros is torn in two between the union and the newly formed confederacy. Heroes emerge on both sides daily. The Celestial War has been raging on for months now.

The greatest bounty hunters in Igros have been hired by the leader of the Confederacy of Independent Nations to hunt down and kill the paladins in the war that is raging on. With a fee so great every bounty hunter in Igros has joined the side of the confederacy...

The sun slowly rises over the plains of Toran. The confederate soldiers are stationed in this area waiting for a convoy of the union to pass by. The commander-in-chief himself, General Unitarian, has come to oversee this mission. Unitarian was once of the sea race but was injured and now he is mostly machine. It is said the convoy would pass by noon with a few paladins with the convoy so the general waits with the hired bounty hunters.

Location: Confederate outpost, South Toran
Time: Dawn
Mission: Wait for the convoy and destroy it

The masked bounty hunter approached General Unitarian and bowed homely. He got back up on his feet and stood with him, waiting for the convoy that carried so many of his prey. The Paladins. The long forgotten "heroes." He looked at the sky - Dawn. Most of the bounty hunters around him were quiet, while some were loud and obnoxious, arrogant to the core. He stood quietly, awaiting his orders. The time passed slowly, alot of the bount hunters beginning to grow restless. The convoy should have arrived at noon, yet it had yet to make an appearance. Some hunters groaned incessantly in the background. The masked hunter thought to quiet them, but opted to ignore them instead.

General Unitarian was a brilliant general for over the months of the war he managed to lead full scale invasions on the union's greatest city; expect Gandra the capital of the union. No one in the ranks of the union or the confederacy could match the brilliant war tactics used by Unitarian. The cyborg general even slew a few paladins and took their cielo sabers as his prize and under the teachings of the reaper, Solomon, learned to wield them as great as even the greatest paladin-sage.

(aye..this is all a twist on star wars isn't it?)

Atiss Illaro stood looking about on a rock. He fingered his pistols and his helmet gleamed in the flourescant sunlight above the bounty hunters. This was more than a contract for Atiss; his journey to kill one-hundred paladins would soon be complete. Now, all he needed to do was wait for the convoy to appear, and the slaughtering would start.

"The convoy approaches...get ready to ambush!" Unitarian said in his deep voice. Confederate soldiers prepared to ambush the union convoy hiding behind boulders and trees and behind tall hills.

Atiss jumped back behind the rock. He loaded his silver pistols and put on his helmet. Now, he'd just need to wait for the prey to come closer...

The convoy begin to pass by. Seven paladins rode on kiltons (size of a horse but they appear to be foxes) along with JAP-001s (think warthog from Halo) with plenty of union soldiers on them. Six transports were in the center of this all armed with turrets and thick armor. The convoy reached the point of ambush and all at once the confederate soldiers came out of hiding and engaged the union forces with their rifles and muskets and some even used knives and swords and daggers.

Atiss started to walk up onto the rock. He knew that this wasn't quite the right time to attack, but he'd still be killing a paladin either way. Activating his jetpack, he ascended into the air and blasted one off a kilton. That made eighty-six paladins. Atiss knew he was a big open target now, so he deactivated his jetpack and landed on the ground. Now he took out his rocket launcher. He blasted one of the JAP's and then turned back. Then, he dove behind the rock and started to think of hi snext plan of action.

One of the paladins was Philemon the Strong; one of the six paladins on the council. The convoys opened up and out came more union soldiers with tanks. The confederates held the convoy in its current location not allowing them to move. The remaining six paladins gathered in a circle and focused their celestial energy to create an energy field around the perimeter of the convoy. Confederate artillery bombared the shield.

Philemon and the remaining paladins focused more of their energy on the shields as the artillery continued to bomb the shields. The union soldiers prepared a defense using the time the paladins gave them to prepare for a counterattack.
