JLU(Patriot Acts)

Did anybody think DC was taking a shot at Marvel with this episode?

I mean the whole "Captain Nazi" deal and then the whole Hulk rip-off.

I think it was kinda funny actually.

I thought it was a good episode. As with the Captain America and Hulk thing, you do have a point. However, Grundy (Grundy Smash) came before Hulk, so DC has a right to make a Hulk (Grundy) like character.

Marvel took shots at DC with the Sentry when he was in Marvel Knights Spidey... it goes both ways...

actually Captian Nazi is a real character in the DC universe he was one of Captain Marvels first enemies and that general what ever his name is in the comics actually looks like that.

He's not a hulk ripoff when ever you give a guy a oversized body and small head thats really strong people think he's just like the hulk. Doomsday, shaggy man, solomon grundy not Hulk rip offs they just happen to share a common body type.

Also it was a great episode using members of the Seven Soldiers of Victory the precrisis versions any way. Shining Knight Rocks!

The first thoughts I had were of Captain America and the Hulk.

I was going to chime in with that, Dr. Fate, Captain Nazi is a Captain Marvel foe, he's actually more or less the arch-enemy of Captain Marvel Jr., he's the one that crippled Freddy in the first place. He's dead now, had his eyes gouged out in Villains United, given bionic eyes, then killed in one of the Batman titles.

it's kind of hard for me to believe that a stun gun to his robotic eyes would kill him I mean he's at least a class 50 ton and its not like stun guns kill people every time there used

My guess is his robotic eyes could have acted as a conductor for the stun/taser and fried his brain.
