Do you have an ear infection?

No, I'm hearing impaired. I lost most of my hearing when I was six... Not many people know this, but there you are.

Meningococcal Meningitis.

Edit: It's a fatal infection of the lining of the brain, which I somehow survived.

I know what it is. I had it in fourth grade. Had to take two spinal Taps and was in quarantine for a week hooked up to an IV.

Meningacocsemia (totally messed up the spelling)

shocking So did I..except that I was in quarantine for two weeks, not one. And I experienced temporary blindness and paralysis before I got better. I've got back problems now because of those spinal taps. 😕

Eh? I never heard that name for it....

Yeah, I had it when they didn't know what it was, so they had these reporters come in and interview me after everything.

After it all happened I found out they were thinking about amputating my legs, that's how they had to stop it before me. They did the second spinal tap they gave me because the ****ing nurse messed up on the first one and got blood EVERYWHERE. But I never felt a thing. I always hear horror stories about Spinal Taps and I'm always like "meh, they're not so bad".

I get a ringing in my ear on occasion, that's about it. Scariest shit of my life, though.

Yup no one knew what it was when I had it either. The hospital sent me home, and it was only after I'd lost my sight and regained it, and was almost completely deaf, that the family doctor sent me back to the hospital with a letter. 😕

Well for me, I nearly died screaming when they gave me that spinal tap. faint

My ears ring all the time... LOUDLY.

I wish I could draw on here... like on MSN. hmm xP

I'm gonna have something to eat, get offline(because our damn living room in res has way weak wireless),watch my seasons of FG while writing my essay and ace this puppy. 😊
'Cause that's how I roll yo'. doped
