Cattle Truck Causes I-94 Closing

Del.icio.us | Digg | Print Story | E-Mail Story | Font Size PORTAGE (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The westbound lanes of I-94 between the S. Westnedge and Portage Rd. exits have been shut down, due to an accident.

Around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, a truck transporting cattle jacknifed near the Lovers Lane bridge, and a few cows escaped.

Traffic is being re-routed off the highway onto Kilgore Road.

Portage Police ask that you avoid this area if possible, until the accident is cleaned up.

Newschannel 3 will let you know when the highway re-opens.
