Not to be a total downer or anything, but it's probably the wires in your headphones that are messed up, and when they are in a normal position, the volume is low, but when in the right position, the wires connect again, and the volume is average like it should be. You probably just need new headphones 😬

I recently got my ears pierced, maybe about a month or two ago. I really hope they won't become infected, because I'm really liking them, and I've been taking pretty good care of them, so I'm excited to finally/hopefully have them be permanent.
I really want to change the earrings though. I have a bunch from all the previous times I've had them pierced, hahaha.
