Yea it wasnt on or running in anyway. In fact my daughter had just done the dishes in the sink cuz there weren't many. SHe washes them in the sink and puts them in the rack in the dish washer but doesnt turn it on.
Under my sink is dry... but the the dishwasher that wasn't being used filled up with warm soapy water and spilled out over the floor..
Im no plumber but if I had to guess then maybe the sink pip is connected to the dishwasher pipe and somehow went in there causing the flood instead of where its meant? shrug
I dunno. It was a lot of water though..😖
