further back, but placement really depends on your tongue, mine had to be farther forward because of that thingy under my tongue.

the thing that sucks the most about that is you will bite on the ring a lot while eating, and it hurts 😂

Yeah, I've thought about that.

Then again I'm not certain if the thing under my tongue is too far forward or not. Just feeling it right now, it feels like the ring would sit forward more.

I haven't chipped any of mine, and also having a tongue ring wears down the enamel on your teeth.
