anyways i have to speak spanish or hear it every once in a while or i forget how to pronunciate words or forget them completely and everything starts to sound like gibberish when i speak it or hear it.. hence why i am watching a movie: pitch black in spanish.. probably bn a few months since i spoken spanish.
its how i forgot to speak mandarin at about 9.. i learned it around 7 yrs spoke it till i was 8 yrs old and then never again and bam i no longer no it..
i gotta correct myself i think i started talking mandarin at about 4 or 5 not 6..
i knew it b/c my baby sitter was chinese and my mom encourage her to teach me mandarin.. so as a lil kid i picked it up.. my mom is still surprise how i could forget an entire language that i spoke fluently as a lil kid till about 8 yrs old.. but after we moved i didnt have no one to speak mandarin to.. only english and spanish..
my mom speaks spanish so by default i spoke it.. my half breed brother is worse off then me he sounds like a tv lawyer mi habla espanol.. my mom gets pissed when she hears him try to speak spanish.. my mom always says either speak it right or dont speak it at all.. i have a feeling if he has any kids the language will die with him,..
i sound like mush mouth but i practice it when i can..
anyways i also speak italian to an extend or at least i understand it and recognize the difference of the language and how to modify my spanish so it sounds italian.. i had a conversation with an italian family from a particular region.. i was drunk at 1st i thought they had a weird accent and i started picking up on their accent as they spoke and parroted back to them after a while they thank me left and asked me if i was italian i told them no and they said i spoke it very well...
i can read decipher italian, french.. latin if i stare at it long enough the words start to look like spanish and i can put together the context of the sentence.. i can sometimes do it with german although very rarely.. only worked a few times when i was in germany but i had bn studying german for about 3 months prior to leaving to munich so that might have had something to do with it.. it was just weird how some of the words seem to have english and latin similarities as if i hawked my words like i was ready to spit the words some how fit certain english words as if it were pig latin...
anyways i speak a military form of korean as well since i taught MA taekwondo since i was 15 and had to give commands in korean its very basic and its like a drill instructor yelling at a recruit not something you can speak to a regular korean person..

most children are able to learn and pick up languages at a young age.. you would have easily bn able to learn a new language in a couple of months as a 4 yr old as well anyone could have...
my two little cousin were taught perfect english within 3 months from watching cartoons and talking english with me..
i taught taekwondo as such a young age b/c i was a jock going in and already knew some basic white man karate and had yrs of boxing under my belt.. my master at the time wanted me to be an instructor when he 1st saw me at 14 yrs old b/c he felt i was the next bruce lee..
my mom agreed to put me in the special instructors program where i took 3 hours a day classes accelerated course.. but only if my lil brother could join he was only 7 yrs old my master refused so my mom declined.. eventually he gave in and me and my brother shot straight through the ranks we memorized all the forms and moves and were teaching and taking classes.. my brother was the 1st 7 yr old instructor.. it was funny but i was always with him teaching him and making sure he never lost confidence....
i traveled to certain countries b/c i was in the marines and i took some vacation time outside the country instead of going home and traveled..
the italian family i met was in the US they were on vacation and were in a casino....
i wasnt a superbaby i just had too many ppl interested in my life and pushed in certain directions from MA, baseball, wrestling, boxing.. multiple languages .. i was just a jock.. my secret goal as a teenager was to get fat it was a depressing moment in my life.. i just wanted to be left alone and not have to train and study so much i eventually rebelled and threw everything away just to do something i wanted to do or at least to say i chose this..
