Appendix is on the right side. My pain is on the left but it hasnt been as bad as the first night (last week) Might be my small intestine. I dont know.

As long as i dont need a colonoscopy...

Left side or left side of the back? Is it a really sharp pain (like stabby feeling) that comes and goes?

If so, could be a kidney stone.

was it cake with ice cream?

anyways..

At least you're asleep for a colonoscopy, unlike a barium X-ray and CT scan.

You sure about the colonoscopy? Thought people were awake while the doctor snaked them.

Had a CT Scan of my head a few weeks ago, it's very quick and absolutely painless.

They're not fun when you have to be given the contrast by an enema for a lower GI scan, which is more common for appendicitis patients.

And I'm actually not sure about the colonoscopy, you're probably right.

eewwe... 😘

anyways i hate prostate checks.. so never done it cause i'm not gay

Ah, I'll take your word for it, only had the head one.

Though how horrible is that? Awake while a camera and several feet of cable are shoved up your ass. Not looking forward to my late 40's and up.

Mhm. I had those exact same pains about a year ago, so I started drinking a shitload of water, cleared it right up.

Probably was a smaller/smallish stone. Do you remember a quick, but sharp pain in your urethra right before they stopped?

That would be the stone passing out.

damn it!!! i blocked the damn exam out!! why u have to call me out on it and remind me!?!

Nope. The pain in my left flank would come and go, like maybe 1-2 times an hour. My dad told me what to do, he passed a big ass stone when he was around our age. Basically he told me that I needed to drink alot of water to cleanse out my kidneys, that all the sodas I drank were causing it.

Man, I remember my dad, on his knees, gritting his teeth and tears streaming down his face when my mom called the ambulance for him when his stone was passing. If a kidney stone can bring him to his knees, I want nothing to do with it, the man is Duke ****in Wayne.

I'm sure CT scans wouldn't be so bad if you didn't already feel as though you're dying.

I'm looking forward to my colonoscopy. I have a fear of colon cancer.

bought Pokemon Platinum today

I had a smaller one, it hurt like a mother-****er though, like someone was stabbing me in the kidney, on and off. When it finally passed (did drink a lot of water), I felt a quick but sharp pain inside my johnson. Doc said this would happen.

That was a small stone; it hurt a lot. Don't ever want to feel what a large one feels like.

You ever walk through high grass while wearing shorts and get those prickly little cockaburrs on your socks? The one my dad passed looked like that, close to that size too.

Was having a ultra-massive migraine at the time, along with some other ailments. CT Scan was the least of my worries, but like I said, it was a head one, there was nothing invasive about it and it was over in a couple of minutes.

Haha, you kinky girl. I don't think that runs in my family, but I'll get one when I hit my 40's, to be safe.

I don't worry about cancer, having a stroke, shit like that. I don't see the point.

Of course I'll monitor my BP and cholestrol as I age, of course I'll have my colon and prostate checked in the next few years, but other than that, **** it. Whatever's gonna happen is gonna happen.

drink these for about a yr or two and see what happens...

f$#$'n sucks hard.. blood in the urine and calcium stones being passed as it rips and tears your insides.

Well yeah, shit like that aint good for you.

I still drink more soda than I should, I have 6-12 beers a week, I don't eat as healthy as I should. These are things that I will address and amend in the next year or so.

By the time I am 45, I'll be in killer shape.
