A man asked me for a simple favor today, to finish my cigarette since he's sorta homeless right now and has no money. I told him that my cig was already to the filter but that I'd be coming out the store in just a few minutes and I'd get him a full one from my pack.
I gave him a few cigarettes because I know how bad it can be when you go through nicotine withdrawal. We got to talking and I found out he's been traveling all around the US to visit with major talk show hosts and crime shows to try and help him get his children back. They were stolen from his home by Child Protective Services and given to foster homes which abused them. He showed me the photos of his 3 year old with black eyes and a broken nose.
How the **** can someone beat a child like that? There are monsters out there.
