i did it off and on as a teenager. it what happens being brown/minority its expected.
did it in mexico during the summer as a teenager for a town my family had interest in helping.
did it for a while working for my uncle's crew and later his own construction company.
he made me join the apprenticeship program while i worked for him.
also did it while a marine for for habitat for humanity project.
it....... f#$#$'n........Sucks... hard.. balls....... especially tar roofing.........during the summer....
but, its honest hard work and i respect anyone who works hard.
i burned my hand losing skin like it was a glove when i spilled hot tar on it... my skin also regularly tore off when twisting wire for roof clay shingles
shaking hands, exchanging pencils, money, food, drinks scratching face..etc etc
just being around them is enough to freak me out, dont touch me!! get the f#$k back you snot nose promiscuous punks!! get a job!!
