Well IMO, the teachers should spend more time teaching than telling you what kind of socks to wear.

They have a lot more stupid rules too.

Example: If your shirt is faded, they call your parents.

Why does it matter what kind of socks we wear? They don't care what our shoes look like, so why should our socks matter? Shoes are a lot more visible than socks.

You don't understand, once people start getting good about one rule, they come up with ANOTHER retarded rule.

It makes no sense to get in trouble for what kind of socks you're wearing. They're supposed to be teaching us.

The sock rule is not even in the student handbook.

What? I think about a lot more than hot girls. I do all my work and make good grades btw.

It's not necessary to come up with a new rule just to get kids in trouble, because I honestly believe that's what they're doing. What in the world could be the purpose of dictating what type of socks people wear other than to get kids in trouble?

I see his point. What purpose does the rule serve other than having the rule?

I can understand not allowing students come to school dressed like prostitutes (both guys and girls) but caring about their socks? Meh. Lame. No reason. If someone wants to wear ugly socks, let them. I wear socks with my sandals. WEEEEE!

Anyway, rules need to have logic. If there is no purpose other than the existance of the rule, the rule should be revoked. Marching band? Your uniforms have to match because you are a team when you compete and it serves to identify and show your "coordination." School? Nah. Wear what you want as long as it covers your parts and isn't see through.
