They found bacteria in her spinal fluid that they had to drain from a shunt last night. This means there's most likely an infection in her brain. Since there's infection and a fever, the surgery is postponed, but she's stuck in the hospital until then and we don't know when that will be. At least a week in the ICU.

I'm at home with my son while my fiancee is at the hospital with Sophie. This sucks to be stuck 70 miles from them while this is going on. The infection has her Neurosurgeon concerned.
