I watched the 88th academy awards last night and loved it. Leonardo Dicaprio finally winning a academy award for best actor was the big surprise since he had been nominated more than 3 previous times but didn't win.

I saw a preview for Disney The Jungle Book and it looks great. The animals are cgi and will talk much like the animated disney movie. No doubt Shere Kahn is the Villain.

I've been jaded by 40 years of progressively better looking movies, now something like the new Jungle Book is just "neat" but back in the day my little 10 year old mind would be well and truly blown away by something that awesome.
