It wasn't critical at all.
The whole jazz club thing was stupid. They could have just left it at MJ and Gwen meeting in the restaurant, that part was important because of the whole Spiderman parade debacle.
And there's no way you could have enjoyed the whole like 10 minute tap dancing sequence and strutting scene. Some parts were so awkward to watch I felt embarrassed for him.
I didn't say it was horrible, I said it was the worst of the 3.
And for 2.5 hours it just felt bloated and some parts felt unnecessary.

The Jazz sequence was pretty cool. Showed how he was being icy towards MJ and using Gwen against her after he already knew MJ didn't like her.
The strutting scene was farking hilarious! 😂 Though I agree it shouldn't have been so long, they could have taken it down to half length.
