Well okay I'm not a doctor, but I've seen plenty of conjunctivitis (inflammation of the conjunctiva) and that's what it looks like. It usually clears up on it's own after a week or so. However it itches like hell, can be incidently transmitted to the other eye. I dont know about over in U.S. but in england pharmacies sell stuff to help clear it up more quickly.
