Are you serious?! So what, it's not like the kids look for that stuff...

i did....and look how i turned out 🙂

disney must be banned!!!!

True or not, I still love Disney movies, there movies imo have nothing to do with anything that goes on in their business spectrum.

wow I just spent an hour reading every article on that page. what it comes down to is that if disney wanted to mass-produce thousands of firearms and recruit people for a disney "army" they sure could do it. then they could turn the US into a quasi-nazi territory.

... im going to write a book.

I know the rescuers one has proven to be true. It was a prank of one of the animators.

The Lion King one is possible, but many people think that it actually says "SFX" for Special Effects.

Even if it does say sex, what's the big deal? No kid is ever gonna find out what it says...
Most of the site just made me roll my eyes and think that whoever wrote that has waaay too much free time on his or her hands.

*runs off to watch the Rescuers* 😐

I love this site.

Down with Disney!

In October 1999 Pat Shenck and her 8 year old son went on 'water sprite' jet skis on one of the park lagoons. One of their jet skis got stuck on the water when the shift wouldn't move out of neutral. A 23-year old inexperienced "captain' of the ferryboat "Kingdom Queen" hit them. Going against all park and safety regulations, he put the ferry into reverse, sucking Mrs. Shenck under the blades and boat, killing her. Before Disney called the "real" police and ambulance, they had divers in the water collecting evidence, looking for her body and pulling the bits of clothing and body from under the ferry. When they finally did find the body they tethered it to a buoy and left it in the lagoon for hours, refusing to let it be moved or let anyone to go out and attend to it until after nightfall when the visitors wouldn't see it and the ride wouldn't have to be shut down. Mind you -- her 8 year old son is there this whole time. I can't imagine anything so sick, and cruel.

I tried to read the whole page, but couldn't. The whole thing was pointless. Little things that don't seem bad at all unless you see it that way have turned into huge issues. I mean, who, honestly, pays close attention to the pattern of dust in the wind? Just because some people see everything as perverted and sexual, doesn't mean everyone sees it that way or that it was put there on purpose. Disney is awesome. I've always loved the movies and will continue to do so.

I think it's clear people aren't reading very far into the page. The animation things are the least worrying allegations on there.

I honestly must admit I am not at all surprised.

disney is getting away with alot more than they should. they have enough money to slip by any kind of threat the government makes. also, now that richard eisner el dousch-o isnt the CEO anymore, disney might start shaping up. most of those final corporate decisions concering what films to sponsor and musicians to hire had to be made by him.

Okay, I'll admit that I should have read further into the page. I have now done so and agree with some of your points. There is a lot going on with Disney that doesn't just have to do with the movies. Disney does need to fix things.

I must congratulate you, for you are the first person ever that I have seen on here actually to logically change their view during the course of a thread! If there were more like you, there would not be so much damn flaming. I would shake your hand. 👆

The children aren't gonna notice any of this, in the end their really all that matter. That's who Disney's aiming for.

Did you even read what I qupted in my post!? A child isnt going to notice that his mother was just hacked into peices in front of him and kept in the water for hours??

The animation crap is the LEAST worrying thing about Disney. ****ing read before you answer a post.

Is there any other source for that, except for that particulair site? It seems really strange that a company could do that and just get away with it without major media attention and a huge fine.

It does have a conspiracy theory flavour to it, but it's not impossible for it to be true if the conditions suggested on there are correct.

I can't say I've personally investigated it in detail, so to me it's just something interesting to read.

I've heard most of the stuff in the thread starters post whose heard the storys about Walt himself?
