I´m not christian or even religious, but I believe in God. I think we can still be spiritual without need to be associated to a religion.

Science work based on premises in which we assume that to be true. You must define proof and truth first, and this is made accordingly just to your choice/faith/opinion only, and just after this you can start proving things based on your "choosen" definitions for proof and truth. But the things you prove are just truths in relation to those definitions that were your choice/faith/opinion.
This means that everything uses choice/faith/opinion, not just religion, and if faith makes no sense to you, then nothing makes sense, since everything needs choice/faith/opinion to define what proof is.
What I´m really trying to show is that some abstract concepts like God or other things difficult to accept, are not different from very objective, tangible things like the the world, or even your computer in front of you. How is it more real than God ? The line of reasoning some people use to prove themselves God is the same used to prove the existence of your computer that is right in front of you. I mean, you make a little use of faith or intuition to conclude even that your computer exists. It is not made only by logical thinking. For example, you will say that it obviously exists because you are observing it, but first you must assume that "observation" is a valid way to prove things, and that is what science do. They assume that physical observation brings knowledge of the universe. They believe that physical observation defines truth. Why they believe it ? Because they have faith in it, their intuition leads them to think that.
Everything uses faith and intuition not just religion and spiritual things.
