I'm on staff of an anime convention I go to every year, and I'm on the gaming department, and will be running RPGs all weekend. And am working with my DH to set up a LARP.

They are, they're loads of fun.

I laugh so much, Gaming is the easiest department of all the staff....I basically get to play games all weekend....

I met Scott McNeil and got his autograph two years ago.

That was the year where my group won second place in the masquerade and afterwards I was talking to him (he recognized me - OUT of costume - rather impressive as my costume had a wig and basically I looked nothing like myself in it), and the convo went somewhat like this:

Scott: So how much practice did you guys put into that?
Me: Other than recording the singing and choreographing the dancing, we started work yesterday....
Scott: .....holy shit, you serious?!
Me: Yep!
Scott: Wow. Smart, cute, good at costume making, singing, dancing, and putting something together like that in little time. You guys rocked.

You met freaking Scott McNeil.

And he said you were cute.

I have a friend who has that exact dragon poster and map on his walls. I just sent it to him. Plus he has a ton of swords and other weapons on his walls.
