I don't necessarily care much about homosexuality and it's role in society, but I hate people who judge a book by its cover. I know plenty of gay people who are devout Christians, and I myself have never seen any part of the Bible in which they say that being gay is wrong (if there is one, please post it for future reference by people). And I'm not siding with the homosexuals because I'm gay or I'm not Christian, but because I was always taught not to judge people and not to go around saying that people should burn in the depths of hell for their sins. And I doubt any of you actually follow God's teachings to the letter. Most likely, each of you has committed sins at least 3 times so far in your life, because it is human nature to test the limits of rules and laws, which is why we are so tempted to do that which is outlawed or is taboo in normal society, such as swearing, killing, and premature ejaculation, all very common acts in America and other parts of the world (although it's mainly in America, which is why I hate living there).
If I have gotten any of those parts that refer to the Bible wrong, don't yell at me. I'm agnostic, so I don't know too much about many religions.
As for my view on "Brokeback Mountain", I believe that if you want to watch the movie and criticize its story to the point where you make it seem like it's convincing us to become a completely homosexual race, go ahead. If you want to not watch it because you've heard tales such as this about it, go ahead with that, too. I didn't go watch it because I had much better things to do than go to the theatre and watch a movie I probably wouldn't have been interested in, like wasting my life on these forums.
Peace out,
