Travis heard Jotaro, but he didn't budge. "Hey! those people in there need you more, I'll take care of Ashford. I know this area better than you. Take Leon and get the others to HQ." Travis shouted as he took off in the darkness. "Ashford where are you over? Come in Dammit!" Travis shouted as he ran through door and saw the Entrance to the Communication's hub. The door across from it was open and the cries of the undead could be heard. Travis was down to his last Rifle mag and decided he would go with his Desert Eagle. "Ashford!" he shouted as he saw the man run by the doorway.
Jotaro turned and saw that after Travis left, two large massive creatures slowly walked out into the center of the hall just before the elevator. Jotaro looked at the fleshy creatures and wondered wtf they were.
One of them slowly turned their head towards him and a long saliva covered tongue moved from it's mouth and slithered along the floor in front of itself.
They all stood frozen looking at each other. Jotaro then thought of what he would do. He let his assault rifle fall to his side, which prompted the creatures to move by rebounding off the opposite wall and launching towards him.
Jotaro quickly spun around with his back to them and crouched so they went over him. While spinning he drew the .50 Cal Desert Eagles form behind his plate armor and pointed above him at a double-angle and fired one shot from each through the throats of the creatures.
Jotaro watched as the creatures crashed head first into the opposite wall and fell dead.
He turned withdrawing the pistols and picking up his rifle only to see one leg of another going up through the hatch after the others.

He quickly ran up and jumped up through the hatch and raised himself up to see 3 lickers crawling upwards above himself after Rory and the others. Jotaro brought his Rifle up and fired into the back of one of the creatures which only seemed to irritate the beast.
The other two turned and let out a hiss, seeing that he was a threat and they launched downward towards him. Jotaro shot two of them in a spanning shot but the third crashed into Jotaro sending him back into the hatch in the elevator.
Jotaro looked up at the licker that was crawling through the hatch and leveled his rifle straight up and pulled back the grenade launcher which launched an incendiry grenade right into the chest of the creature knocking it back on top of the elevator and he heard the whooosh of the flames as they engulfed the creature. He could hear it scream in agony and then eventually there was silence.
Travis Fired into the group taking out two of them, but they turned and moved through the doorway quicker than he had expected. "Dammit, Ashford get your keester back here, Did you forget that you're heavily armed!" Travis shouted as he took two more out.
Leon had watched Travis go and turned to Jotaro. "C'mon he can take care of himself. Help me into the shaft." Leon said as he moved back towards the elevator, firing at undead the whole way. The lickers appeared and Leon felt his gut tighten. "Not these things again!" He shouted , but before he could act Jotaro had already taken them out. At seeing the third emerge Jotaro ran into the elevator and pulled himself into the shaft. 'Dammit!' Leon thought as he opened fire on the Advancing Licker. The creature leapt at him, but fell dead at his feet. Leon kept pulling the trigger even after the gun was empty. He quickly reloaded and looked around. 'I stay as long as I can Sarge, but if more of these show up, I'm gone.' Leon thought to himself.
'Ashford! Come on they're dead." Travis said as he wiped the blade of his Large knife on his pants leg. He had killed six of the sombies with 8 rounds but by that time the remaining four had reached him. He drew his knife and stabbed one through the head and kicked another back. A third had grabbed his right arm, but Travis had executed a judo throw and knocked it into the fourth. The force he had excerted in his blows had crushed the creatures' spines. "We gotta go now!"
"Go, Go, Go! Up the shaft Leon. Now!" Travis shouted as he and James came running towards the elevator. Leon wasted no time and Jumped up the hole and reached back to help James up. Roars of anger reverberated throughout the room and shaft. Leon and James turned and began to climb as Travis pulled himself up. "Go, they're coming!" Travis said as he began climbing behind them. As they reached the top, Travis heard Angelark say something and she handed him a grenade. He quickle pulled the top off and hit the button. " LICK THIS!" he shouted as he tossed the explosive down the shaft.
(To clarify the true origin of the licker, it is a mutated Zombie. It goes: Zombie-Crimson Head- Licker. That is the official origin of these monstrous creatures.)
Jotaro had climbed up the ladder after them and heard the clang as the grenade fell down behind him and the resounding screams of the creatures.
Jotaro then quickly stood and placed his hands on each side of the elevator shaft doors and with a large grunt heaved them shut so no more lickers could follow them up here easily.
Jotaro would simply open them again if they needed to move out. He then turned following them down the hall and saw the man (Alex) come around the corner and quickly withdrew his .50 Cal pistol and aimed it at him and said, "Identify yourself."
Travis leaned against the wall as Jotaro closed the door. "Alright, so out of the pan into the fire." he mumbled as he reloaded his Desert Eagle. He had to get to the armory and reload, as well as pick up the rest of his arsenal from his locker. Jotaro quickly withdrew his .50 Cal pistol and aimed it at a man who had come around the corner and said, "Identify yourself."
