There's always going to be a meaning as long as the lyrics are about a discernable subject. Even if there's not, there still may be meaning there somewhere.
Which is why it's stupid to say there's no meaning in the lyrics Evil Dead quoted. Just because he can't get anything out of them, doesn't mean Cobain didn't write them with meaning. Furthermore, anyone can get meaning out of any lyric really.

whatever dude. Either words come together to form a coherent subject or they don't........take all your "no meaning is a meaning" crap to the philosophy forum. The lyrics to the majority of Nirvana songs are simply random words that rhyme, connected in no other way.....not even close to forming a coherent idea or subject. The guy asked if Come as You Are was about drugs.........he got his answer..........back to the topic of this thread.

"Coherent meaning" is subjective. An apparant meaning to you may not be apparant to someone else. Take YOUR "There's a meaning or there's not" bullshit to the philosophy forum. You don't get the lyrics, that's fine. Stop being bitter.
