Ancient Sith Empire vs Galactic Empire

Oh, the Ancient Sith were be even worse technologically.

... But a better fight, since they have thousands of force users, who's leaders are a big chunk stronger than Sidious and Vader.

So a ground fight would be interesting, the Sith being outnumbered but have better "quality" so to speak.

But in the air the Ragnos is screwed.

Don't know about that but I do know that if the sith see that they will not survive, they will make sure the GE doesn't either. Look for a huge supernova or some kind of suicide blast.

You mean their star destroying tech? I doubt it would make a difference. Since it'll be too dangerous to scout their own Hyperspace routes, they'll just be shooting whatever stars they find in border GE space until the GE shuts them down. They won't be able to reach Coruscant or any important star system.

Naga Sadow was able to reach Coruscant when he first invaded... Reaching the systems won't be a problem, taking them through military power and more importantly keeping them under control will be.

And the force users would have to fight at every battle out there, in ways that would probably drain them... It would be a war where the Sith can not conquer becaues they will lose control of the planet, all they can hope to do is destroy.

Wait, the Ancient Sith had an effective map of the galaxy?

Not beyond their own Empire no...

Ok but if the sith want to take out everybody including themselves, they are more than likely to do so.

How?

We can always start off with Naga Sadow's supernova. And who knows what kind of terrifying powers Marka Ragnos and Simus have.

Exactly. WHO knows?

Sadow, very controversially, used his ship for assistance in blowing up stars. But he didn't do it off the Yin Yang. Who knows how long it took for him to regenerate, to do it again?

And what text has shown the exact powers of Ragnos or Simus. We know that they were powerful, but HOW powerful, and to what degree.

We base these battles on facts and events that we DO know that happened, not on facts and events that we think COULD have happened.

And going but what we HAVE seen, Ragnos would scare every Sith into fighting to the last man, Sadow would blow a star or two, and Palaptine's Empire would crush the rest.

Sadow was a sith alchemist, Simus was his master and the greatest sith alchemist during the golden age, and Ragnos was the most powerful of them all. Not to mention all of the other sith lords with force powers and their massassi warriors. I didn't say the Ancient Sith win this but I'm saying that if someone has to lose, the Ancient Sith will take everyone with them.

Under what circumstances?

Sadow using assistance to blow up the stars is never even confirmed. Aleema used his ship to "tear the cores" from the stars. Sadow seemed to have shot lightning into a star to make it go supernova. Sadow also used solar flares to decimate Teta's fleet. Different circumstances.

So they blow up... 6 random stars that have are no concern to the Imperials. Big whoop. The Ancient Sith are toast.

Thought so, I knew Aleema fit in it somehwere, I'd meant to check on that.

What proof is there that Simus was a great alchemist?

Apparently 'cause he kept his head alive in a jar. Very Futurama of him.

Yea that's a testament of his power, not to mention Simus was considered the greatest sith magician of his era, and apprenticed Sadow.

The Galatic Empire probably has this. More weapons, more guns, much more firepower, much more man power. Though it's almost scary to wonder how well the Sith would do with collusion. If Ludo and Naga worked together, Empress Teta's empire and the Republic would have been gone. If Gav didn't do his timely betrayal, the Sith would have one. Combine that with Ragnos and the other Sith Lords, it would be quite fearsome.

But the Galactic Empire is the strongest conglomerate in the galaxy. They have so many weapons, ships, fighters, and men that it's ridiculous. Death Star or not, I'd vote on them simply overwhelming the Sith.

Those are good points, but if you notcie; technology changes little in the milleniums of the Star Wars galaxy. During KOTOR and the Galactic Empire: blasters, lighsabers, ships, droids......it was all pretty much the same.

And consider this: Storm troopers are by far the worst shots that ever existed. A Sith garrison would own a legion of stormtooopers.

WTF? The stormtroopers, trained and battle-hardened soldiers bred for war, are the worst shots in the galaxy? Where've you been?
