Coll, accompanied by his two Commanders, Arvus, and Rylis, has just intercepted Senator Galahad and his bodyguard, though obviously not who we're looking for...
-
"Senator Galahad!" Coll hails. "What the bloody hell are you doing out here? This is a warzone!"
Coll motions to Arvus and Rylis, to take off on their bikes, to continue their search in the rest of the City, as this does not require them.
"I will leave when I deem it time to do so," Galahad replies. His usually weary face now bears a stern expression. "But not yet. History is happening here, General. I wish to witness it, now that nothing can be done to prevent it."
Galahad turns and gazes into the plumes of smoke that engulf the rest of the City.
"Are you enjoying your genocide?"
Coll curls his lip at this comment.
"The Osokans were a threat to the stability of the Empire," Coll says. "And now they are not. I have seen to it."
Coll continues to watch the Senator.
"The Commissar requests your presence at the starport, to the South of the City. I suggest you make your way there. The Commissar also requests the frequency of your comlink, so that he may contact you."
(What did you expect from a man ordering genocide? Oh, wait...)
"So you've saved the galaxy, General?" Galahad scoffs, returning his clear blue eyes to the General. "Congratulations. Remind me to send you a gift parcel when I return to Thespia."
Galahad looks the General over, his gaze piercing him. "The Commissar wishes to contact me?"
"Yes. We were all very concerned upon your status; as the usurper Drakkon had shut down all communications with the Guild Hall, we feared that you had been taken hostage or even killed by these porcine animals. We would have alerted you to the start of the bombardment, but...we had no means of contacting you and did not want to alert the Enemy as well. Seems they have already evacuated, however."
"I am not sure where any of these people are," Galahad replies, simply. "My companions left the Guild Hall by their own means, as I myself have done. As you can see, I'm walking into a part of the City that is not on fire or suffering from orbital bombardment. I haven't the slightest idea if they are doing the same.
"As for the Guildmaster, he could be anywhere in the City."
Coll opens the tracking computer on his speeder bike, so that he may follow the Independents once he concludes this conversation.
"Senator, I trust you have some...rendezvous with your companions and will be seeing them again shortly. The Commissar sends his regards each of them, especially yourself and the Duchess.
"Will you give me your comlink frequency to pass along to the Commissar?"
