Perseus rammed into Hippolyta, his eyes bloodhot and ckleaved her guards in half! he thre a punch at her and swung his sword, but his sword shattered as it came into contact with hers through the power of Ares!
"You may be able to defeat me in battle," Panted Perseus, "But try to beat me now!" And, from his pack, he produced the hed of Medusa, slamming his eyes shut!

Perseus cursed a terrible oath and suddenly he had a vision... of Menalaus e,mbracing the accuresed Romans as they slaghutered Perseus friends and family... no... ANDROMEDA! He stared at Gippolyta, his eyes boring into hers and whispered:
"Zeus, forgive me!" In a moment of madness, he grabbed Hippolyta, passionately kissed her and then spun away and suicidally charged into the heart of the Roman army!!!!!!!!

hippolyta stood in shock.watching him run off.she licked her lips and returned to battle.all she could think of was that moment."men mean nothing"she knew it a an dangerous thing to think of him while battling but she had to help him.

Perseus hcked and slashd as blades whirled around him, a sword cutting deep into his side and a dagger slitting a cut into his arm! He whirled around and raised the head of Medusa, gesturing for Hippolyta to shut her eyes... the nearby Romans foze into rock and Perseus charged on, fighting back to back with hippolyta against the Roman and Spartan horde!

"there are to many of them.we must flee"

"No! By Zeus' will, there is always a way!" Roared perseus, "For the deaths of the good men I slew, I must battle to my own death or until this war is won!"
he began battling 3 men at once, then leapt up to avoid a rear assaut from a 4th!

"i understand"hippolyta slew two men."zuse is your father right?surely he should understand"

Perseus whirled around, sword flailig, and soon he saw a great sight.. the spartans were fleeing! But then he realiesed... they were just regrouping with an army of around 1 million Romans!
"Oh... shit!" Perseus grabbed Hippolyta, and carried her as he sprinted towars Athns, gesturing for the gate to be closed! The guards began to close the gate and Perseus darted through as it slammed. he leaned against a wall, panting...

"Wine? I think I have some bread... cheese... no much else!" He smiled as he checked his pack and produced his reflective shield, winged sandles and helmet of invisibility giving to him by the gods to slay the evil Medusa. He then set about calling for soldiers o perperae siege defences and rationing....

hippolyta smiled and walked toward the Amazonian"i want archers on the top walls of the city and in groups of ten"then she walked back to Perseus"thank you but i'm not hungry.beside i think Athens has quarters for us.if you you need me i'll be down the street.you'll see two amazon guards"

Perseus watched her walk away and grinned, maybe life was still OK without andromeda, after all, he hadnt spoken to her for 5 millenia... he whispered to an Athenian general, made up his mind and walked downn the street towrds Hippolyta's quarters...
