So far what I've watched of FullMetal Alchemist is really sad...
Chidori's death in Ceres-Yuhi kinda ruined the moment with his wailing.
Hotohori's & Chiriko's death.

Tsunade stating frankly and right in Rock Lee's face that he would never be a ninja again with the injuries he sustained. So cruel.

I liked when Kuwabar sacrificed himself in Yu Yu Hakusho. And when Yusuke died against sensui. Of coarse everyone al ready mentioned the most tear-jerker of them all when Nina dies. That caught me totally off guard. I was like "holy shit".

And I liked in DBZ after gohan and vegeta died, the responses to their death from characters like Botan and Videl.

gohan never actually died then but I think the YYh ones you metioned are good

omg, fushigi yuugi is sad too, when most of the celestial warriors die, like nuriko and hotohori, i balled my eyes out!! i thot that kakashi and sasuke died 2!!!!!was sooooo sad...

Don't tell me you guys have never seen Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (to be released in US as Rumbling Hearts). Now that one's a tear jerker the whole freaking show. Granted I didn't cry but something must have been wrong with my tear ducts.

you know, I'm utterly surprised no one wrote some real anime tear-jerkers. You know like Air, Kanon, Clannad. And there's this one anime, completed heart wrenching I almost couldn't finsih it. And an amazing thing about all of these is that they were written by the same person. KEY is extremely talented, you should check out all of her work.

I've only watched four animes seriously. Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Naruto, and Bleach. Was too young to understand and care much for Sailor Moon... only sad part of Pokemon is when Ash loses in the Indigo Plateau fight to Richie.

There's nothing in Bleach that s made me sad.

Naruto has a few gut wrenchers. I almost cried when Zabuza fell over and died next to Haku. It was sad when Naruto was told the truth about his past. The current wrencher for me is when
