well you must admit she isn't the brightest main you've ever seen. I mean it was a good story but like serena from Sailor moon it focused a lot on her weaknesses<like eating....>then BAM! she kicks butt. I'd like authors to quit making the girls always so immature and semmingly weak until the end. that's all i was trying to say...like this series focuses on the main girl wanting to accomplish something for the better! although she reminded me a lil of Tamahome and his $! 😄

well you must admit she isn't the brightest main you've ever seen. I mean it was a good story but like serena from Sailor moon it focused a lot on her weaknesses<like eating....>then BAM! she kicks butt. Oh forget both of you! I like seeing people you wouldn't think are going to kick butt eventually do it! I mean, it's like Naruto and Sasuke. I'd rather see Naruto prove everyone wrong than see perfect Sasuke as the main character. Sailor Moon, if you ask me her confidence in herself was pretty low to begin with. But as it went on she grew stronger! Watching someone weak and with a lot of heart is a lot more interesting than watching perfect people become more perfect! I love it when Serena proves people wrong! And if you ask me, Miaka isn't that ditzy to begin with! By focusing on weak people, or seemingly weak people, you watch them evolve. Back off the underdogs! 😎 💃
that's true to an extent but not always. I, as a girl hate for others to think of me as weak-minded, the kind who back off easily. Nice example, but where talking main charcter basis. If there is a character who all ready has some good points and continues to grow is more realistic then a total nobody become somebody. Naruto is the main charcter as Sailor moon is and it's their job to develop and be better than the rest of the cast or else what's their use?
It's nice to see people grow but aren't you tired of the same heroine who eats a lot, to crying about the smallest thing? I for one, am glad that there is finally a different viewpoint! Like Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaiden. i for one think she's a great miko like Miaka without the constant eating. I just wished they'd portray a better variety to draw people in as well... No body wants to see good people get even better at being perfect but even the best fall down sometimes<Like sasuke> so we can't really say the best is only getting better because they also started at the bottom and fought their way to the top.

I get what you're saying. But it's not impossible for a total nobody to become a somebody. And besides, not all main characters are that way. Take Kagome for instance, maybe the major from Ghost in the Shell even, there are lots of female characters that start out as competent. And yes, it's interesting to watch them also. And don't say it like that...you make it sound like, I don't know...but, like, if you ask me, if the show weren't called Naruto, and some people hadn't seen the show from the beginning, some people might think Sasuke was the main character or something and Naruto was like, comic relief. It really doesn't seem like he's getting to much better. It's taking forever. But I like it that way, because it'll be all the more amazing when he does. That's what I like about characters like that! I love'm to death! But I'm glad all main characters aren't like that, but I think it's pretty alright right now. And usually characters like this don't expect anything from themselves, or have some type of low self-esteem to begin with. Makes it all the more touching when that changes for the good! 🙂
