A Matter Of Integrity.....

Ok your walking down the street one day when BOOM , your hit by a bolt of radioactive lightening which shot through a conveniently placed chunk of green stone and ricocheted off of a mallet and a bat .

Shaken slightly you find that you've been given superman style powers , over the course of the next two weeks you learn how to control these powers perfectly.

So everything looks good for you , when suddenly it turns out the Russians/Americans/Iraqi's/Mole-men have shot a Nuclear weapon at your country and state/county .

You only have enough time to.....

1 . Grab the nuke and fly it into the upper atmosphere of the earth , sacrificing yourself and allowing it to detonate harmlessly.

2 . Grab your family and zip to the nearest country.

What would you do ?

Grab my family and run.

If I had Supermans powers, I'd blow at it hard, and cause it to fly into a nearby astroid field. Or erect a skyscraper or 3, play some Nintnedo, then catch it and crush it in my hands.

then use the attack as justification to compleatly obliderate whoever it was that launched it

The question would be "Would you really want to live if you let the nuke hit?" I mean everyone would blame you in some way for not stopping it and letting millions die (in addition to your own guilt). So you really have the choice of living as a pariah or dying like a hero. I mean we all have to check out at some point, why not go out in a blaze of glory? But that's just the way I see it.

yeah if you've got supe's powers then you have way more options than self-sacrifice and population sacrifice.

you can freeze it, throw it out into space, disarm it with heat/x-ray vision, rush it out into space and rush back, etc
