He has stalemated the Hulk in pure h2h fighting (no hammer)
Taken an indirect hit from a planet-destroying bomb.
Defeated Ego, the living planet with a thermoblast.
Defeated Super-Skrull with an anti-force.
Drove off Galactus.
Stalemated Immortal hercules in armwrestling. And Immortal Hercules has shown that he's stronger than Namor, even underwater.

Namor's tough, I'm not saying he isn't. he can hang with top-tiers. But in terms physical strength, stamina, and durability, I'd say Thor's above Namor.
Without the hammer, I'd say Thor takes it more times than not, but not without a fight each time.
With the hammer (and no PIS/CIS), Thor just has too many advantages to lose. The uru hammer can do a lot more than just shoot electricity.
I couldn't say it any better than Hit and Run... Unless Namor has gotten stronger than Immortal Hercules over the years. Thor won't need help from his haamer to over power Namor, and I like Namor as a character... he's simply out classed. Just a little off the subject, what ever happened to Dale Keowns character The Pitt? Marvel should buy him, or try, what a waste.

If you'd check the similar threads, I have never said that Namor would win against Thor (or Wonder Man, since you seem to believe that I'd defend Namor against him too).
I'm not a fanboy. And after your showings in Wolverine VS Cyclops threads, I wouldn't have a nerve to call someone as one if I'd be in your position...
I only defend Namor in threads where he CAN beat the opponent and has the means and skills to do so. Here, he doesn't.
Thor wins. And next time, read my posts one more time before getting bitter.

Defending a character that isn't a god as a god is something that is basically one of fanboy definitions. And you only admitted that he could take Wolverine in the end, before that we had to do quite a lot things to convince you.

I've read this issue before, but it's been a long time ago; but if I remember correctly, Namor gives Thor one hell of a fight...this is one of those rare occurances where Namor uses his ability to take on abilities of certain sea-life...he zaps the #$%# out of Thor when he summons the abilities of an electric-eel...and he also manages to snap the thong at the end of Mjolnir into!!! 😛
You must be remembering a different issue, because in this one Thor knocks Namor around like a sack of potatoes. It is very clear in this issue that Namor is less powerful than Thor. The fight ends with Thor taking Namor, wrapping him up in his cape and hurling him out to sea. It's not clear if Namor is conscious when this happens or not, or perhaps he is KO'ed by Thor's throw, but either way, Thor's toss rockets Namor for miles before he plunges into the sea. Namor is so shaken by his encounter with THor that the idea of flying back to NYC to continue the battle doesn't even occur to him.
This story was horribly written. I'd love to see a realistic, long fight between these two. Namor would go down in the end, but it should be a cool fight, with plenty of opportunity for these two pompous ones to spout off lots of boasts...
