Theoretically, couldn't Firestorm just focus in on an element in Supermans body, and change it to something else. In effect, changing what makes Superman, Superman, without actually having to change the organics?

Has Superman ever broken out his patented, handy dandy, grade A atomic containment field? If not, I guess Firestorm. But if Superman gets his hands on him, it's over.

firestorm wins 6 to 7/10..i like superman way better but speedblitz is not going to work on firestorm.. firestorm can turn the air around superman into krypt or he could very well absorb the solar rad in Superman's body,... like u said if superman gets close firestorm would be in deep shit
