Read the issue. He didn't negate jack because Warlock didn't use the Soul Gem on Strange.

What amulet? and is that specific amulet resisting the soul gem. Does it have any instances where it could resist something similar to a soul gem?

You know, just because Dr. Fate and Dr. Strange are rivals here, doesn't mean they are exactly the same. Dr. Strange had prep and specific items that can resist the effect. Dr. Fate doesn't have the priviledge of having those.

And also, Adam Warlock has mystical capabilities as well. He broke off Mephisto's entrapment spell by himself.

Fate's spells are at high tier plot device level. There's a reason they killed him off you know. Even without prep, Nabu can instantly recall all his spells.

He can do that, the question however 1) is it gonna be able to resist a soul siphon. If we are going with plot device, the soul gem can be categorized in that as well 2) Can he use the spell and recall it faster than in "an instant", cause that's how fast the soul gem can affect him. Dr. Even Dr. Strange never had the encounter against Warlock going all out.

are you sure strange didnt defend himself against a few of the gems on the IG if he can defend against one he can defend against the others

Exactly. I doubt Fate will be is able to cast spells faster than Adam can think.

i didn't say that. In fact i have the scans right here.

Look to those scans and you will see Adam not using the soul gem at him. In fact, strange used it to reveal to him his folly because it's basically almost one with him.

I've heard something about another time he resisted the gems, probably long pig knows, i'm not so sure. But i'm pretty certain Warlock never used it on him being dead serious and not witholding himself unlike the default characters state in KMC versus threads.

But as said, both can pull crappy insta-wins. Fate has trapped beings of immense power inside of his amulet before. I believe he did it to Mordru, for instance.

Well, i didn't really rule out that possibity just like the fact that i didn't rule out Fate being able to do something against the soul gem(my first post). I'm just saying Warlock is not helpless against magic even enchantments.
