tough Spiderman have better looks and effects, i got upset of how SM2 was similar to one. The first is brilliant, but they kinda repeated the formula... He has problems, the villain appear from a wierd experience, the villain kidnaps Mj, Spidey defeats the villain. Plain obvious...X3, on the other hand, has worse graphics and effects, but has a waaaaaaaay better story, more adult, developed, metaphorically speaking of problems that are present in our society. Oh and its one of the only superhero movies (if not the only) that deals with a villain for more than one movie, developing him and making Maagneto the least one-sized villain ever. I do think X3 will be the best.
I always thought that the X-men Movies were way better than the Spider-man movies. The Spider-man movies have always had a too much of an American feel to it. A little patriotic. Which is not a problem coz every country needs love for there country bur X-Men always had a global feeling. I think the world relates a little more to X-Men than to Spider-man.
I don't think its WAY better but it matches up equally..cause im a fan of both movies..spider-man is just more CGI scenes..but are awesome..and spider-man relates alot to the comics..but putting the money made for X1 and X2 can't come close to what the first spider-man movie made better yet both of them..As for X3 its all about the background of Ratner....Singer made a classic The usual suspects that won an academy award,and then apt pupil before coming to direct x-men..Ratner is a music video director and made comedies and a couple of drama movies..lets just hope this is his break through movie.
