Classic Juggernaut vs Superman

Started by batdude12337 pages

You shouldn't really refer to Superman as a mortal man or just somebody who's below a god. Superman basically IS a god on earth. Are Hal Jordan and Alan Scott 'mortal men?' Yes but they should beat the crap outta Thor, just like Superman would. Just because Thor's a god, doesn't mean that he automatically can just beat any mortal man.

^ Do you really think Superman would just stand around and let Thor summon all the power of Asgard? It takes Thor a couple of seconds to conjure up all the power, what's to Superman from flying faster than the speed of light behind Thor and just hitting him with all he's got?

1st thing the godforce is not the power of asgard but Thor himself. Does he take time to summon it up? Sometime he does other time he does not. Visit the Thor respek site, dude.

Yes you should, have you seen what Thor can do? Thor should have man handled Superman.

superman fans don't know anything about thor they only know one thing that superman is above galactus 😆 😆 😆

The Gods refer to Superman as an equal most times, and not just lesser gods like Thor, like full on, can crush planets with thoughts, skyfather on up, all refer to him as another God being.

The Kryptonians were considered a godlike race altogether, The Maltusians or rather The Guardians even refered to them as such.

Even the DC Earth heros all see Superman as a God blessing the Earthly mortals. Even Batman said "Clark is probably the most human out of all of us." "Then you see him do something like shoot fire out of his eyes and it's hard not to think of him as a god." "It's a good thing he doesn't see himself like that."

Superman was brought before The Quintessence and judged for being too powerful of a being to exist in the universe. And not JUST because of his personal power. Superman's greatest power is his influence, and that he is the universal symbol of hope. He's even convinced an aspect of death not to fullfil it's duty just by standing in it's way.

When considering their powers and comparing on the forum, Superman is not on Galactus' level. In the comics though, Superman would deal with him in an issue or two. A good portion of Superman enemies though the years are above an average showing of Galactus in leaps and bounds and would destroy him with ease.

What a joke. This is a silly statement.
Superman may be powerful, but he is still a solar powered heavyweight.
That's all.
Galactus is a being so powerful, and so entwined in the Marvel universe, that it would die without him.
His is weak sometimes, and unbeleivably powerful at other times. This goes along with his character. Which is "hunger". That is what he does, and what drives him. Why he constantly travels, devouring planets.

As far as Thor goes, he is beyond just a strong guy. He was developed as a true God. A mixture of physical and magical strengths. The abilites available to him are way more than Superman. And they aren't just power abilities. With his hammer, he is potentially an energy and matter manipulator. He can travel ANYWHERE instantly. He can control portals to other dimensions, can focus his powers and effect the powers of others.
Anybody up for finding a dimension that would suck the solar energy from Supes? Because if there is one, Thor could send him there.
Etc.
As a matter of fact, if you look at the feats Thor has, it seems like the only thing limiting what he can do with the Hammer and magics at his disposal, is his creativity. And, his past shows that he has been able to get very creative with it.
Can Supes beat Thor? Of course. Some times out of 10. But, overall, Thor would be to much.

Everything said in the statement you quoted was true. What was silly about it?

By the way... I know who Galactus is, and what he does, same with Thor, you don't have describe either of them to me.

so superman's enemys could destroy a being who in full powered state can destroy the universe 10times

Average showing Galactus would lose quite quickly against some of them.

Depends on the writer. In DCU Supes would beat Galactus. That's not what I would want to happen or what should happen, but S-man wins because he's S-man. That has been showed time after time...

again i will have to say thor will not beat supes the majority, it just wont happen, he's powerful but that's not an excuse. Galactus will beat superman, c'mon, that will happen, although darksied might beat galactus, i've seen a comic with galactus and darkseid fighting eachother, anyone got it?

Thor would whip Superman like a run away step child.

and it carried over into JLA/Avengers, which has made every single Superman fanboy get a big head, when in reality the fight was Plot Induced Stupidity. THIS is how it should have happened:

A Juggy6666, you got that sig?
