why couldn't the IG affect maelstrom in the anomaly form?

anyone? this happened in quasar. the anomaly was essentially the servant of oblivion, the opposite of infinity. eternity and infinity are within the IG'S scope, why not oblivion? is oblivion, a universal abstract, then OUTSIDE the ig's sphere of influence??

yes. the theory goes that death and oblivion are > than eternity and infinity, because different universes have a different concept of time/space. however death and destruction are omnipresent.
