I spoke to Mr. Von Doom about this on MSN just a few minutes ago. He said that he was made to make the video under-duress from some government 'shadow men'. They decided that to draw attention away from the real matter (giant worms eating the Earth's core from within), they would make this video. Apparently, it was a real alien, but it was also in on the plot because of an intergalactic dispute over who owns right of way at the first traffic light after Alpha Centauri. The Kimolimbians - that's their name - are now delighted with their new access route as it shortens their commute home after work.

Its called a puppeting and dubbing. Something any amatuer could do. Heck even I could take a stupid video of an alien puppet download it onto my computer add some crappy voice over and expect you to believe it. Also why would it be so dim? Thats just a dead give away theres someone operating the puppet. The dim light makes for a creepy setting in a horror flick but not in a top secret interview with someone from another planet.

Have some commen sense next time.

The possibility of life on other planets is most plausible. By our knowledge so far, the universe is immense beyond our recognition, and crammed with solar-systems that could spawn life (according to our theories/research, let alone lifeforms beyond our imagination or knowledge).
The problem is that the universe is just to ridiculously large! And the ideal situations to create life in it are relatively rare.
I do think there is life out there, but it's probably very very far away, making the chance to contact them very slim.
As said, it would require highly advanced tech to travel across the galaxy, something we are still centuries away from. And even then, the chance of encountering another species is a shot it the dark.
But, viewing our own species, it can bit somewhat unlikely that a life-form will gain that technological status, as it might destroy itself before that time.

There is no doubt that governments conceal events, tech and information from the public. But usually these things are man-made/caused and those involved were prepared to hide them.
Concerning the discovery of alien lifeforms, there is little predictability for the events that may follow and little control of the situation.
If some have proof that there is 'something' out there, that proof is probably based on received signals, and not on direct contact.
If we were really visited by aliens it could be something very hard to cover up by the gov's. Off course I base this on the minor human knowledge, but interstellar space-travel requires a damn flashy spacecraft. And with all the antenna, space-observers and satellites around here it's hard to believe they would approach us unnoticed by any other that the governments.

thats a good theroy also and i dont mean to start going xfiles/ fox mulder here but forsay our government is in talks with these aliens for there technogly. i mean cmon maan why hide something this long? ive seen the stuff about stealth planes but cmon bro how do us as people know this isnt another gov coverup? how do we know that the stealth plane wasnt already produced?

Thought about that. Have to get back to my point that conversation between 'us' and 'them' would require a certain amount of proximity for our sake. Them would have to come to us as we don't have the means to travel or communicate efficiently across the universe.
Then comes up the question of why would intelligent and advanced aliens share technology with us? They must have discovered us first, not visa versa. They must have observed us first for some time before making contact and that surely not would not persuade them to give advanced technology to us. For the last 20.000 years we humans have been quite involved in killing other beings and mostly, our own kind.
Most of our technological research is done for military reasons, thus for killing and destroying.
If I was an advanced alien coming across humans, I would not give them even more technology as they might soon bite the hand that feeds.

has anyone seen the alien autopsy video? now that is the poo....im not so sure about that. I believe in aliens. Is there a UFO in area 51? quite possibly a while back, not now though. If we do have one it's being tested somewhere in the middle of a jungle or something where noone will expect to look for it.

I've seen more credible video's then that.
