Spider-man 3 vs X-men 3

Definitely Spiderman.
Both Spiderman movies (especially the first one) was mainstream ...in that it was enjoyed by not only comicbook fans but the general populace as well (and its box office proved this in a quantitative manner).

The X-men movies on the other hand were mostly catering to comicbook fans. Both were good movies, but definitely not at the same level as the SPiderman movies (again, particularly the first Spiderman movie).

Anyways, I'm really REALLY looking forward for the Spiderman 3 movie ...not only because of Venom, not only because I like Spiderman - in comics I actually prefer the Xmen -, but because I know it will be a good movie both in terms of PLOT (something most movies today forget to include and just have explosions and stuff) and visuals.
I know I'll watch the X-men 3 movie, but I am definitely not on the edge of my seat for it. I'm definitely more excited over the new Superman movie.

Anyways, for ME I'd have to say Spiderman 3.

Moving to the comic movie forum.

I got my money on X-Men 3 I mean I a huge fan of both but I dont know how there going to bulk Eric Foreman from that 70's Show to become Vemon I just don't see that happening

i agree with you on the part that says the Spidey movies are more mainstream.
If i hadnt watched Spider-man 2, i would sure be looking forard to the thrid film more, since i loved the first. But the second one showed something so "copy", my father wtached it and said "hey, havent we watched this film already?". It was the same Peter has a problem-a villain appear from a weird expeerience-the villain hurts Aunt May- the villain kidnaps Mary Jane- Spider-man fights the villain- Spider-man saves the day- Peter's prroblems arent resolved.
The second film ruined the dream to me 😛
X-men, on the other hand, had a sequence that is tons better than the first...

it'll probably get moved to comic book movies. I just don't wanna hear any bunk about Electro in SM3. There are some real idiots in the Spider-Man forum.

LOL you say we are idiots. ok anyway I think Spiderman 3 will be much bigger and I am looking forward to it more. Harry being a goblin is just going to be awesome. I don't see Venom fighting in this film so he really don't make the movie any better. Harry vs Peter will rock.

Surprisingly, I'm looking forward to X3 a lot more than SM3.

Although I think some things should be different, I kind of have a really good feeling for X3. I won't be happy with everything, naturally, cause nothing is ever 100% perfect, but I just have this instinctual idea that X3 is gonna be a good movie, not just "that was a cool superhero flick".

Spider-Man 3...there's just so many things that's making me cringe. Why put Sandman in there, why throw in the Stacy family, why focus even more on Peter instead of Spider-Man....its just...let's just say, until I get an actual positive bit of information (which I haven't yet) I'm very disappointed in Raimi. Same thing goes for Casino Royale, the new Bond film. I'm a big fan of all 3 of these franchises (among others like Batman) and so far I've only heard 2 good things about Casino Royale, and that is the actor that was cast as Le Chiffre and the director that they chose. Everything else ranging from who they cast as (everyone else, especially Bond, Felix, and Vesper) to how there will be no Q-Branch, Q, Moneypenny, smoking, or basically anything, is just so reminiscent of "In Spider-Man 3 we'll see more of a relationship struggle with a love triangle of MJ - Gwen - Peter, completely contradicting what the first two movies blabbed about incessantly." Both films have been just making me sick with what I keep hearing. X3 on the other hand, save for a few things like Cyke's role in the film, an absence of Sentinels, and an absence of Gambit, has been making me smile, so I'm looking forward to that film a lot more than SM3.

When did I say you were an idiot?

You said there were real idiots in the spiderman forum. You were the one who started all the fighting just because someone disagreed with you. That is why I laughed. I used to think Electro would be a villain.. not anymore Raimi might destroy the film but that is why I am looking forward to it alot more. It will either be the best of them or the worst.

I'm looking more foreward to X3.Spideys cool, but the whole team battles have got me realy hyped for X3.

You must be lost in time!

wow i seriously never thought X3 would win at any point. 😊

venom in s3

Is it true that venom is set to be in s3? I'd heard the rumours but didn't know wether I should believe.
I mean gg2, sandman and Venom... isn't that a bit much for one movie.
Wouldn't s4 be more appropriate for the Venom saga to begin?

Def X-Men 3.

SM-3 looks like it's going to be a train wreck.Bad casting [Topher as Venom],boring villain [Sandman],another love interest being added with MJ [Gwen Stacy].

Terrible.

Unless they can make it really good somehow. The fight scenes better rock. I really don't understand why Gwen is in it.. especially now, but anyway Harry will be a goblin so that is exciting.

Spider-man is marvel's boxoffice monster...character driven and top notch visual and effects relates alot more to the comics than x-men..x-men movies are pretty good good but is surrounds too much on one character but was still good..i looking forward to see both anyway

well considering the X-men series sucks due to several different things like Juggernaut is now taking off his helmet and the reacurring villains
I'm going with Spider-man looks like it should be good with Venom in it

yep prob will be,and Harry vs Peter should rock

badass it should be

bump.
now that we've all seen X3, i think we have a winner. Spidey3 will kick X3 so badly it makes me want to cry.

we'll see closedeyes
