A ****en awsome trip, that I can't go on...

There's an awsome classics trip with school, it's to Greece, Athenes and thousands of other amazing places... and I can't go.

It eats me up everyday of my life. I was in tears when my parents said no.

Have you ever missed out on such an awsome trip?

If it' s a money issue, can' t you ask your parents to lend you the money?

well, y'know. going to europe, if you're not canadian or japanese your dollar is probably worth nothing so if you're poor, don't go. you're including return flight, accomodation, food, expenses, etc. if you're not in europe already, your atleast facing $2000 for flights. if you're old enough to have a job, get one and save up.
but if it's just a trust/over protective thing, sucks to be you considering it's extremely well supervised being through your school and they still said no.

and no, i haven't faced a problem like that. my parents said i could go to china without them, and i'm 14. 😬

The trips like $10 000 New Zealand money. A few friends are going aswell as my favourite teacher.

Even if I did get a job it WAY too late. They leave in two weeks.

I missed out on a major school trip when I was at school, because it was too exspensive.
it was a skiing trip to somewhere.. I forget.. some skiing place far away.. hum

and yes it sucked when everyone who went came back and they had their little private jokes and their special "you had to be there" stories, and all the pictures they stuck up on a big noticeboard.. 😬
but after a while you get over it. ✅

so even though it may seem like a major dissapointment now, in a few months time it will all be forgotten and life will go on. 😄

Why would they schedule a huge trip like that, 2 weeks away?

There would have to be tons of planning and fundrasing first, but to have it two weeks after finding out about it,
i don't even think thats possible. There would have to be airplane tickets, hotel arrangements and all...
