Ok Mongul punched the hell out of Wonder Woman in Infinite Crisis, and even got rid of Superman for a couple of minutes, while he began to put the big hurt on Batman... Thanos is superior to Mongul, I don't see him beating the whole team, but he will put a few of them down before he goes down himself... Aquaman gets nailed, Batman gets nailed GL gets nailed, MM gets nailed, and when it comes down to it Wonder Woman will get nailed while helping Superman and Flash knock Thanos out.

Several things: The Mongul comparison is bad. Stay away from A beat B, therefore C beats B, because everyone has higher and lower end showings. Supes and WW should both beat the hell out of Mongul, fighting properly.
You VASTLY underestimate several JLA members. GL and Flash are the most powerful of them. Supes is 3rd only because Aquaman and MM aren't fast enough to mindrape him before he tears their heads off, but both are much more versatile than he is. Wonderwoman, and I WILL say this forever, should beat Superman at least as often as he beats her, because she is the best martial artist on DC Earth. Supes is stronger, Supes is faster, but just barely. Logically, fighting well, Wonderwoman, should avoid his first punch, grab his arm, and break it every single time they fight. Instead, she puts up a few ultimately futile resistance attempts while Superman flies circles around her. It just shouldn't work like that, not with her skill.
Anyhoo, back to Thanos. I agree that they should probably win, but not because Supes and Flash ake him down by themselves. With just those two, I would give it to Thanos very very easily. It's really a combination of everything. Supes, WW, GL, and Flash need to constantly bombard him with punches and blasts while Manhunter and Aquaman attack his mind. Eventually, he'll need to let up a little bit on one front or the other, and be beaten. It WILL take a long time, and it won't happen every time, but I'd say he ends up mind raped and beaten into a pulp about 6 or 7/10 times. The other 3 or 4 times, the physical fighters fall and he blasts them all into dust.
Thanos will not get mind raped by these two weaklings, he possesses psionic abilities as well, as far as me comparing what Mongul did to Batman,Wonder Woman, and Superman... the reason for this was because they are very similar in stature and speed... The deadliest thing about Thanos is his mind, he will begin with the defeat of the weakest first, Batman, Aquaman (via Plasma eye beams) , Martian Manhunter (Jonn is only strong for a couple of minutes after that he reverts to class 20 Thanos will break him), The reason for Wonder Womans lack of victories over Superman is the body armor factor, she is soft and always has been, although DC has toughened her up a bit over the years; hence the need for the bracelets to deflect bullets, I know what your going to say, but if she was so tough why does Cheetah rip her skin with those claws every time they fight? Answer, because she's soft! Thanos will deck her, Green Lantern? Lobo fought Hal in Legion, Hal tried to cage Lobo up to take him out of the fight, but learned really quickly that guys on his strength level can't be taken lightly Lobo nearly knocked him out, but due to the fact that lobo was a part of the Legion he was called off, so what happens when Thanos strategically takes a punch and is thrown toward GL? here's the answer Thanos grabs him and breaks his neck like a toothpick, which leaves Superman and the Flash who could easily get behind Thanos and vibrate his fist through his head at super speeds while Superman goes in for the crushing knock out blow... which would normally kill a lesser opponent but because Thanos can not die he is on incapacitated long enough to be imprisoned.
This is why I wrote what I did earlier, it was just quiker than explain the blow for blow but you get the point... and even the way that I explained it is not absolute, after all Thanos without any outside power ups was able to take out heros that were in the same power bracket as the ones mentioned here.
Hes too out numbered with no time to prepare, they should be able to overwhielm him. He could defeat all of them on their own, and any two combination, maybe even three, but all of them together is a little to much. He'd kill a few of them before he went down though, actually he'd probably just teleport out of the battlefield in a situation where fighting is useless, prep a little and come back and kick their asses.
