Captain Atom - Armageddon

I think his new look just looks fine...And the fight with Majestic was so cool, Atom's monologue and than the hit....Actually the story what got me really into this....What you guys think about Atom's new adveture?

Isn't his new costume based on the one he had in Kingdom Come?

Don't know I haven't read that one, and haven't seen that, but this one looks pretty cool though....

He had the same outfit in "Formerly Known as Justice League"

Couple of scans from first issue Cap's fight with Majestic....

It's utter sh*t. The writer has obviously done almost no research intot eh Wildstorm characters he's writing, and it shows in that he gets everything wrong from Character powers to their personalities.

No other books in Wildstorm are cohesive Kellendros. In Wildcats Nemesis it was even stated that Jack Marlow is dead yet is alive in Majestic's solo series. Hell, Wildstorm pretty much ignored continuity from the Image days after they split with him. Really I do not know what the complaint it.

Yes it's the kingdom come costume.

Brilliant series and CA seems to have had a power up. Remember full potential CA would own Surfer.

Looking forward to Nathaniel beating up the Autority in issue 7.

I think they could make a new Captain Atom comic after Armageddon is finished, like I said there are plenty of story and fight potentails that Atom can have.

The costume is actually based on his original costume before DC gave him that ugly silver and red get up.

I think the mini is good though it's starting to drag at this point.

Thje atom symbol was not wrap around on the original and I don't think it was gold mate. I will have to look.

I know that but the KC outfit was itself inspired by his original Charlton suit.

Only in that the hair was more free in my opinion and the symbol used before DC filled it in and made his haor solid. Anyway I agree it's a big improvement. I think CA should have the Solar treatment and become uber. I think DC could do with a silver surfer type character they nhave a gap their imo not really filled by the GL corp.

It depends which redition of Solar you choose. The original Dr Solar (GoldKey is probablynot although Dr Manhattan nods greatly tohim), the Valiantone is although this takes awhile to become obvious and in some repects like speed.He does not have faster than light speed hence how long "Solar the Destroyers"mission took. The Acclaim "Universe making" Solar was on another level. Captain Atom is very similar to the oldGold Key in many respects including originalorigin story.

true, Majestic is far stronger than supes, and the should have crushed CA easily

I don't think he is and neither did Captain A. He even says "his not quite Superman strong, but close enough". It's wildstorm canon in Nathaniel Adams opinion.
