Hermionie- Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw

Do you think Hermionie should have been put into Ravenclaw because of how smart she is??? Or do you think she should be in Gryffindor???

There can be no doubt that she was misplaced by being sorted in Gryffindor, but she has served a function in being a member of the trio.

That's true. If she was put into Ravenclaw she wouldn't hang out with Harry or Ron. But she does seem misplaced

In the very beginning she did seem hopelessly misplaced since she was completely friendless until the troll episode. That would suggest that she didn't have anything in common with the other Gryffindors.

It has been told that the Sorting Hat was had to make the same dicision(sp?) like when he did Harry. Cept Hermione, I believe, didn't force the hat to put her in Gryffindor.
