Robert Jordan
Since Wheel of Time seems to have fans on this board, I just thought I'd mention that the author, Robert Jordan, has been diagnosed with a terminal blood disease. I don't read his books, but my best wishes go out to him, never-the-less.

I think he's writing the last book now.
On his website, he says he plans to live another 30 years, and he's going to fight it.
He's going to finish it. If he doesnt, he'll probably get a person who's close to him to finish it, just get the story over.
