I saw this flick back in the 80's, but the film was made in the late 50s, early 60s. I can't remember the entire plot, but there was the climactic scene where the heroes were trapped in a room with a ghost (who was searching for their missing body) stalking them. There was a moment where the feet and hands of the ghost were walking down the hall towards the door. The heroes then discover that the ghost's skin is in the trunk/chest in the room with them and that is what they are after.

This has been buggin me for years!
