Clark Kent knocked tentatively on the door to the office of Perry White and herad the call: "Come in!"
Clarkk entered the office and took a seat opposite Perry White, a portly grey haired man who had a cigar poking out from his mouth. Perry offered a cigar to Ckark, who declined.
"So, you want a job at the Planet, huh?" Asked Perry, "Any prior experience of reporting, kid...?"

I think Id have Bart based in Metropolis, since thats where he was based before and he knows the criminal atmosphere there.

After his encounter with Clasrk in the Smallville episode "Run", he gained a sense of justice, but he still needed to steal to survive.

The character Id have in mind would be about a year older than his Smallville appearance and would steal from criminals and corrupt businesses, as his own brand of justice.

From time to time, he'd help Clark face any meteor freaks that show up, but for the main part, his only relation to Clark would be that of a friend.

Wouldnt it be more likely to be Bary Allen?

I thought he went by Bart on smallville

In the comics Barry was the Flash, and, as Syndicate Lord knows, Kid Flash, previously Impulse, aka Bart Allen, Barry's grandson, is prob going to be the next one.

But there was only Bart in Smallville............Thus endeth the comic trivia news for today!

Do you ever post things that arent criticising other people?

If you paid more attention, you'd see that this is based in the future, not in the current Smallville storyline, so Lois would be working in the Daily Planet.
