The Pentagon are only considering this now?

They should have considered this years ago back in the 80's.
When that bullsh!t law is passed and makes 12 million felons into us citizens, a lot of people are gonna try and cross our borders at the last second to hitch a free ride on the let's give amnesty and citizenship to 12 million people who don't deserve it while there are millions of people on the INS wait list waiting trying to get into this country legally.
The military should fortify our borders so this crap doesn't happen again years from now.
It's finally official.
It's about time Bush got off his a$$ did something.

10,000 of our boys patrolling our northern and southern borders sounds good to me.
I'm gonna be in Arizona for a week volunteering my time with the Minutemen project starting tomorrow. My plane leaves in 3 hours. It looks like we will be coordinating our efforts with the National Guard according to what my Squad Captain told me. I'll post some pics of the Arizona border and whatever else that happens down there when I return next week.

Heavens to Betsy! Were it not for my confidence in my own ability to prepare burritos, I would surely consider this a valid threat.
I really doubt this banner waver is seriously suggesting that only mexicans can prepare burritos. So before you congratulate youself with your self-perceived funny comment you should realize you are taking seriously a joke that was intended to make you laugh and not over work your tired brain to come up with some sort of humorous rebuttle. Sh*t man!

I've never seen anyone lose at a thread before. Some people post things that deserve the reply of "/thread". You, on the other hand have just "/thread"-ed the "/thread".

Doesn't answer the question though, does it?
Illegal's can stay....as long at they are a part of the system. Otherwise, they go!

Illegally entered the US. Failure to obtain proper documentation before entering. Using falsified documents (if they're actually working here).
Nooo... they haven't broken any laws have they?
I'll say it again, you wanna ride the ride? fine, go to the end of the line.
PS Univision isn't news, it's propaganda.

All I can say that is freaking hot here. Were patrolling Pima County right now. 12 freaking hours a day. I thought most of the Minutemen Volunteers were gonna be white, but to my surprise most of the volunteers in my squad are of Mexican descent!
Family members of legal immigrants who came to this country legally. Then again that doesn't surprise me. Their pissed that all of their country men and women who are here illegally will be getting free citizenship and amnesty while their family members went the legal route and had to wait years to get into this country. The 3 friends I came with are the only white people in my squad. That is freaking amazing. Most of them think I'm Mexican as well but they are shocked when they learn that I am Filipino.
Were spread out pretty far. There is no freaking way the Border Patrol can patrol all of this land. They seriously need help out here. The thing is, we can't freaking detain Illegal Immigrants that we see. That freaking sucks. All we can do is notify the Border Patrol and they usually take care of it. We can defend ourselves only if we are threatened and what not. Minutemen volunteers are forbidden to carry semiautomatic rifles on patrol, but those who possess a CCW permit can carry concealed weapons. Handguns are perfectly legal if you possess a CCW permit or are a citizen of Arizona. The preferred weapon of choice out here seems to be the Smith & Wesson Sigma SW40VE. Arizona residents who volunteer can open carry their handguns since it is legal in this state. Other than that, there are two cameramen with us. Sure they don't carry top of the line equipment, but both of these guys videotape and document practically each and every sighting. The Border Patrol are pretty tolerant of us since we do turn in what info we have to them on a daily basis. They don't mind us being here at all.
Other than that, pictures of where we were patrolling and the rest of my squad will be up probably by next Tuesday. We'll be moving to Santa Cruz County by Thursday, and finish off in Cochise County Sunday.
