And not anyone can edit it, they lock some pages so they can't be edited, such as Plo Koon's. It's a Star Wars encyclopedia which follows the entire history of Star Wars. It only uses information from Star Wars books, movies, video games and stuff Lucas says. So if it's not canon then none of that stuff is, either.
