If someone doesn't know who banned them then the word of who banned them cannot get around.
And the mods cannot, do not, and will not divulge any information that is in the mod forum. That's a good way to lose your modship. Hell, sometimes all of us don't even know who banned someone.

It's happened before that a banned person comes up as viewing the forums.
I think they need to clear their cookies before it'll make it so they don't come up on the online list.
