Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) discovers that Professor Fine, aka Brainiac (guest star James Marsters) is in Honduras and sets out to confront him. Clark (Tom Welling) meets a beautiful seductress named Simone (Nichole Hiltz) who uses a magical charm to make people succumb to her every wish. An enchanted Clark reveals his powers to Simone, who seizes the opportunity and demands that Clark kill Lex.
Overall I liked the episodes except for the time thing regarding going back and forth to Metropolis like its right across town. For some reason they keep forgetting its THREE hours away!
I have to say tho that I was dissappointed at the end when Clark told Lana "I never meant to hurt you" thereby letting her get in the last "It's Over" line. I wanted him to be the one to end it and end it cleanly for once.
And Lex and Fine were damn good together.
I'm hoping this will be the last clana break-up I'll ever see in smallville..
and Go Martha! for saying that lana isn't the one for clark...
chloe=lois is not gonna happen and I'm sure about that...
all the teasing and foreshadowing for clois and you think Chloe might become lois?
Smallville writers and producers does not respect DC comics if they will do that.. Lois is one of the crown jewels in DC and also Time Warner so they wouldn't dare...

How is it dis-respecting DC? I feel having Edlois be the character that she is, is more of a disrespecting thing, then Chlois.
I mean sure, do I truly believe they're GOING to do it? No. But do I believe unless Lois get's her act together soon, they SHOULD do it? Absolutly
^because they are messing up with the character of Lois if they are gonna do that.. It isn't the history of Lois that before she is chloe sullivan and she is somewhat the bestfriend of Clark... I do not want some made up character to be Lois Lane not because I don't like her but its wrong for me.
I do understand why certain fans yearn for Chloe to be Lois. Of all the young characters on the show (except for Lex), she is the most interesting, the most intelligent, the most ambitious, the best friend, the everything one would want in an iconic figure. Does that make her Lois? No. Does that make her a better character than the Lois portrayed on the show? No question in my mind.
I like ED's Lois and I don't care if she's not at the Daily Planet yet and not even interested in journalism yet. L&C's Lois Lane said she became a reporter to prove her father wrong, not out of some inherent noble love of journalism. The truth is she grew to love it and found out she was very good at it, but it wasn't the least bit necessary for her to leap out of her cradle with a press pass in order to be the real Lois Lane.
The bottom line for me is that I do not want a character invented for a WB teen drama to turn out to be an icon who predates her by 60 years.
and as clark develops in his maturity... Lois develops too as you can see in the past ep. of sv... she's been considering it.
And here's another reason why chloe isn't lois...
She does not have the spunky qualities Lois Lane have haha 馃槀
1943
"Contrary, mule-headed, aggravating"
1993
"Complicated, domineering, uncompromising, pig-headed"
2004
"She's bossy, she's stuck up, she's rude"
-----------------------------------------
I just love Lois Lane.. so better not mess her up.. sv producers..

How about you people arguing over Chloe turning into Lois and vice a versa head on over to Allison Mack Online where they just posted a recent interview with AM and she very clearly states that they are TWO DIFFERENT CHARACTERS AND ARE STAYING THAT WAY. Let that be the end of it. 馃檮
I've read that article....and in all honesty, she say's she "doesn't see that ever happening."...So that doesn't necessarily mean it's completely debunked....Plus we're not really arguing that it's going to happen, only the legitimacy/believability if it DID happen.

Good post...I really have nothing to defend it with. But I do have to say, L&C continuity is not Smallville's.
^ yah i do agree with you that... L&C is different from Smallville... from the way Smallville story line goes some of it really sucks like the vampire storyline... what are they thinking...
anyways
As they continue now... it looks like they are concentrating on how clark will grow and mature into accepting his destiny... so enough of the clana drama
