X-Men Evolution...X3 related

Do you guys think that they are basing the movies on the new cartoon version as opposed of the older ones!

I havent seen all the episodes but i would like to know if the phoenix is part of the series?

Phoenix was in the older animated series but not in Evolution. Evolution is when everyone was younger and Jean still being a student didn't evolve her powers yet.

There was one episode when she totaly lost it

In the last episode, there's a flash-forward and it shows Jean becoming the Phoenix. That's it.

Are they still making new episodes of Evo.

Yeah I want to know that too...

They haven't made new episodes of Evo in like 2 years. 😐 Get with the times people.

Well I know that, but are they going to bring the show back? And by the way that show has been gone for more that 2 years buddy.

they've cancelled it coz it was becoming 'too dark' whatever it was supossed to mean.

too unapt to children view? 😬

Boyd Kirkland, the series producer, said in Beyond Evolution forum that everything will be depended on X3's success.

Just like how they made X-Men Evolution at the first place because of the first movies success, Boyd said it is possible for Evo to come back with new seasons if X3 turns out to be a huge success.

phoenix is part of the old x-men

Well X2 was successful and no new episodes. 🙁

I never watched Evo much...

i actually just DL all the episodes and i must just they were very good, they always jam packed the final episodes of each season with alot of action!!!!

also i want to know some of you opinions, i personally think the movie are very relatable to XEvo, and some are way to similar, do you think they do?

Actually, they DID continue making new seasons after X2's success. Half of the episodes from Season 3 and the entire Season 4 were made after X2 came out.

Simon Kinberg (one of X3's writers) did say that every X-Men incarnation (cartoons, comics, video games) has been an inspiration for X3. He said that they definitely watched X-Men Evo as well as the original series and some sub-plots were definitely inspired.

I remember evo, that was quite good actually, i actually preffered that compared to the old animation one really..it was more adult (not by much though) and had better characters

Is this really true?! X3 was a HUGE SUCCESS! Maybe there is still hope for evo.. im so excited! Hopefully they will bring it back, if not for a fifth season, then maybe a direct to dvd movie??? Anything, evo needs to come back. When did Boyd Kirkland say that?

Yes evo was awsome i really enjoyed it and i liked it because they put more time on other characters than wolverine. But sometimes it was nice to see him.
